from $1,180.50

Fri 8 May - Tue 19 May • 12 days, 11 nights • Broome, WA to Kununurra, WA • Suitable for Trailers

The Gibb River Road is one of Australia’s greatest 4WD trips. Experience some of the Kimberley’s natural treasures with river gorges, waterfalls and swimming holes, by joining us on our Limited Edition Gibb River Road tagalong tour.

You will explore iconic locations including Windjana Gorge, Tunnel Creek, Bell Gorge, Manning Falls, the Pentecost River, and El Questro. Our 2026 Gibb River Road tour, starting at Broome and finishing 12 days later at Kununurra, will let you make the most of this unforgettable experience, in safety and with none of the planning hassle.

  • The Gibb River Road (GRR) tour will link up in Broome at 9:00am on Friday 8 May. After a tour brief we will depart to Derby. We will visit the Boab Prison Tree before heading into Derby to top up fuel, then start east along the Gibb River Road to our first camp.

The tour will include a mix of free camps, National Park Campgrounds and station camps, so there will be regular access to showers and toilets. We will visit many of the GRR highlights including Windjana Gorge, Tunnel Creek, Bell Gorge and Manning Falls. A significant part of the GRR is crossing the tidal Pentecost River, which we will do close to low tide. If you are new to water crossings, don’t be concerned; we will talk everyone through it before we enter the water. After camping on the bank of the Pentecost River, we will spend the last three nights camped at El Questro, allowing two full days to visit natural wonders such as Zebedee Springs, Amalia Gorge and El Questro Gorge. Should you wish, it will also provide you time to participate in some of El Questro's paid activities such as horse rides or helicopter flights. On our last night, we have the option of a group dinner at an El Questro restaurant, allowing us to reflect on an unforgettable experience.

On Tue 19 May, we will drag ourselves away from El Questro and make a few final stops on our way into Kununurra. We will arrive by mid-afternoon, allowing time to check into your chosen accommodation , or to resupply and continue your journey.
